I also found these sketches I did of my old co-workers at Disney (Jessylee, Michelle, Nick).. I miss the food.. *drools* Maybe when I have more time to scan all my sketchbooks, I'll turn my blog into a sketch/process blog.

While the first saying is double edged, I always thought it far less foreboding than conversations starting with the 4 word curse "we need to talk" or the 5 word curse "we did everything we could." Selective hearing and willful blindness could come in handy in these situations I suppose.

Old people make me smile. I recorded Richard Sherman (of Disney Music fame) performing "Feed the Birds" from Mary Poppins this past weekend.

I've been pretty reluctant about putting my newer work on blog since my cargo site is still down. I put off releasing it for months because of side work. Anywho... I was bored earlier so I drew this and a couple other illustrations with my Little Prince character as the Fresh Prince and Michael Jackson. Enjoy!

I'm redesigning the 1990's hit movie "Cool Runnings" in Animation Style. Hopefully by end of term I'll have a ton of paintings to post on my Cargo site :)

I made this for Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist. My interpretation of the post bar crowd scene is set in Persia circa 1800's.

What was going through my mind was a mash-up of Full House's DJ Tanner and Monster House.

I'm getting super quicker at pumping out dig paintings. hurray :)

I bought a 6 ft plank of wood I'd like to cut down. Long time no oil paint. hehe.

My interpretation of Exupery's The Little Prince takes place on a deserted French Polynesian Island.
Fig A: Area where our Pilot is stranded.

A washed up Elvis wannabe pilot. A Japanese Tourist Prince of the Frequent Flyer Mile Skies. A wily Sea Snake of the Islet. And a Turtle both true and wise.

Fig D: This is a Pidgin (island talk) Dictionary from the happenin' 70s. Lot of comical value. I tried to channel the "hang loose" low brow comedy of island culture. This was definitely a ton of FUN.
